Is the vinyl top UV resistant and flame retardant?
16 oz Rip stop Fabric Vinyl cover material is UV treated and meets Flame Retardency specs per CAN/ULC-109-M and NFPA 701

Does the steel come with rust protection?
All Steel used in the construction of Universal Shelters is structural grade and Galvalume tubing is Acrylic Lacquer coated, which is the best rust protection available to ensure long term performance

How do you compare with conventional building?
Universal shelters cost less than conventional buildings but meet the same loading and structural requirements.

Do we require building permit, pay property tax or get a P.E certified engineering drawing?
These shelters are considered temporary and don't usually require a building permit, nor will they increase your property taxes. However if required P.E.certified and stamped drawing and Flame rating information will be available on request at additional cost.
